Description

Salesforce attachments are stored in Salesforce database, which is counted in the storage limit assigned by the Salesforce. This may restrict the way you use the attachments, because you have only limited amount of space for your attachments. Also there is no easy way to take backups and to run reports on Salesforce attachments.

FTP Attachments application helps you overcome all these limitations by allowing you to save the attachments in your own FTP server or Application server (where FTP Attachments is installed). This way you have complete control over storage because attachments are on your own servers.

With FTP Attachments Pro you have additional features of maintaining versions of your documents, organizing folder structure how attachments will be stored and audit information for each attachment when it was changed or viewed. Also you can run salesforce reports and create views for attachments with all this information.
